Hop House

Hop House has a fully equipped kitchen with a range cooker, dishwasher and washing machine. Then a very large dining and lounge area with seating and dining for 8 +. Also, downstairs there is a double/twin bedroom and a wet room that is accessible.

Going upstairs there are 2 double /twin bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms with showers.

Private parking and outdoor patio space allows Hop House guests the ability to enjoy both indoor and outdoor living.

The custom built, fully fitted kitchen lends itself to group dining with:

– Electric Double oven cooker – Microwave
– Fridge and Freezer
– Washing machine

All the cupboards are fully stocked with pots, pans, dishware and cutlery to make moving in for your stay hassle free. A large dining table sits in the open plan kitchen, which lends itself to delicious family style meals with family and friends.

The lounge area has two large comfortable sectional sofas, colour TV and plenty of space to play board games, rest & relax. In addition to the lounge area there is also a separate snug room for cosy reading and playing games.

The Loft

With a stunning round kitchen, custom built to enhance rather than detract from the unique circular ‘oast house’ old hop drying kilns.

The bedroom and living area are cosy and yet provide enough space to relax and enjoy your stay.

The Loft has a unique, custom built, circle kitchen to replicate the circle of the former historical Oast House building it is situated inside of. With electric oven, microwave, sink and all pots, pans, dishware and cutlery you could need for your stay it is move in ready.

The Loft has a Colour TV and sofa within its Studio Loft layout which allows space for relaxation, reading, watching TV and playing games.

It has one master bedroom in studio loft layout with a king sized bed and lounge area in the same room. The bathroom is just off the bedroom with a shower, freestanding bathtub, sink and toilet.

The Snug

The perfect place to stay if you are looking for a bedroom without cooking facilities or as an additional bedroom to any of our larger cottages.The Snug is at Little Cowarne Court overlooking the courtyard. With countryside walks from your front door and a fantastic pub within walking distance it is the perfect place to stay.

The Snug is a bedroom with ensuite facilities (similar to a hotel room ) It has a double bed that can be either twin or super king, colour TV and music system. There is a kettle and small fridge but no cooking facilities.

Then an ensuite bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.

Things to note

• The Hop House has a large flat car park in front of the property which then has stone 20 cm steps (3) into the property via the front door. There is also disabled access at the back of the property, this is sign posted.
• On entering the front door you are in the open plan kitchen and lounge.
• The wet room is on the ground floor and has a shower, toilet and sink with appropriate grab rails, a shower chair can be provided (please request on booking).
• We can hire hoists, oxygen and carers should you require them.
• To get into the Loft you must climb a relatively steep set of stairs so would not be appropriate for all guests.
• There are 2 low steps to access The Snug, then all level in it and a small step to access the shower.
