This ten-bedroom holiday home in Cumbria sleeps up to 16 people and has a warm, welcoming feel – perfect for a relaxed break with family or friends.

It’s a lovely spot for anyone who enjoys nature, whether you’re coming on your own, as a couple, or as part of a group. Much of the house dates back to the late 18th century and was built using oak from the estate and local stone. You can still see the craftsmanship of the period, beautifully balanced with all the modern comforts you’d expect.

Set in its own private grounds, the house has plenty of parking, large gardens, and several outdoor seating areas. With its natural rock garden, sweeping lawns, and grand old beech trees, it’s a truly picture-perfect setting.

You’ll have the whole place to yourselves, with ten bedrooms comfortably sleeping up to 16 guests – though single-room stays are also available if you prefer.

Please note: the house is best suited for groups of 16 or fewer, but the dining room can comfortably seat between 16 and 20 guests.
