Blackfirs Farmhouse is a beautiful, detached property situated in glorious countryside only half a mile from historic and picturesque Battle town.

As a self-catering house, you’ll find everything you need for a perfect stay. The kitchen has all amenities required including washing machine/drier, dishwasher. The house is a perfect place to relax and offers a television and internet access.

With five bedrooms, four bathrooms and a large garden, the house comfortably accommodates up to ten people.

Four of the bedrooms have spacious double beds with one bedroom offering twin single beds. The first bathroom has a toilet, sink and a bath with over-shower. The second, third and fourth bathrooms each have a toilet, sink and a walk-in shower.  Linen and towels are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.

Newly added to the house is a large hot tub beneath a covered veranda, the perfect place to unwind with friends and family.

Blackfirs Farmhouse is the ideal base for family/friends/groups to get together or bridal party to get ready and relax before your special day. With easy access to many beautiful local wedding venues, you can forget the rush and enjoy the whole experience.

Things to note

Check-in time is 3pm and check-out is 10am. Smoking is not allowed. There is free on-premises parking available at the property. Well behaved pets are welcome.

The property is available for workgroups (team building etc.) and Yoga/Pilates on 2-3 day breaks.

On arrival you will have a welcome sparkling wine in the fridge and goody pack ready to start off your stay. Battle town centre is 1/2 mile from the property and has some beautiful shops, local pubs, restaurants and, of course, the beautiful Abbey itself, a must for historical enthusiasts. Local places of interest include: Hastings, Bexhill Eastbourne, Herstmonceaux/Pevensey/Bodiam castles, Sovereign Harbour, Beachy Head, Battle Golf Course. There are plenty of good walking and cycling routes and woodland with Bewl Water and Bedgebury Forest not far away. After a day cycling or hiking why not enjoy our newly installed hot tub, the perfect spot to unwind and take in the evening. An idyllic property to have family, friends and group gatherings etc. It really is home from home.
