This 4-bedroom hideaway sleeps up to 8 guests and features a wood-fired hot tub in its private garden — the perfect spot to celebrate a special occasion in style with family or friends.

Each of the four bedrooms can be set up as either a super king or two singles, giving you plenty of flexibility. The downstairs bedroom is ideal for anyone less mobile, though that one stays as a double. You’ll find luxurious white bedding and fluffy towels ready and waiting when you arrive.

The house has superfast fibre Wi-Fi, so you can stay connected, and outside there’s a fantastic wood-fired hot tub along with an outdoor shower (available during the summer months).

The kitchen’s fully equipped with everything you need, including a large electric induction range cooker, tall fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker (Tassimo pods – starter pack provided), microwave, toaster, kettle, iron, and a 32” Samsung smart TV. There’s also a Bluetooth speaker, whisk, and hand blender.

We’ve stocked the place with all the essentials too – crockery, pots, pans, cake tins, utensils, soft loo rolls, bin liners, cleaning supplies (including laundry liquid), hand wash, dishwasher tablets, and tea bags.

Outside, the large wood-fired hot tub is perfect for relaxing evenings, and we keep the log store fully stocked. Extra logs can be delivered if you need them. There’s also a big firepit with a grill for cooking and a log seating area for cosy nights under the stars.

Inside, you’ll find a lovely 7ft wooden farmhouse-style dining table, and outside there’s a picnic table, benches, and deckchairs to enjoy the garden or the wraparound decking. Guests can also use the hammocks and hang them between the trees. A washing line, drying rack, ironing board, and iron are all provided.

You’re perfectly placed for exploring, with two National Trust properties (Killerton and Knightshayes) nearby and several stunning Devon beaches – Exmouth, Sidmouth, Beer, Lyme Regis, and Seaton – just a short drive away.

Things to note

• Pets are welcome (up to two dogs).

• There’s a double sofa bed in the kitchen-diner that can sleep two more guests, bringing the total capacity to 10.

• A travel cot and highchair are available on request.

• Plenty of parking is available on the private driveway for at least five cars.

• The house is heated by an air source heat pump, with lovely underfloor heating downstairs.
