The Allendale Bunkhouse is located in the heart of Allendale, Northumberland – with the North Pennines, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on its doorstep. It is a family friendly venue for groups of all ages and can be hired as a catered or self-catering space, with the provision of adventure and team activities or without.

Please be aware that the Allendale Bunkhouse is located on the Market Place in Allendale, rather than a remote hilltop location. This brings with it the convenience of a hop, skip and a jump to all local amenities, but also the responsibility to be respectful to neighbours and villagers.

The bunkhouse currently sleeps up to 25 guests in 8 rooms. Downstairs is a large open plan area with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area with seating for up to 25 and a lounge area with comfortable sofas to relax. Double French doors lead onto a BBQ, seating, and patio area with steps into a small, private garden.

The attic games and cinema room creates another social space for children, teens, and adults away from the downstairs space in a light an airy room dedicated to entertaining you and your group.

The Allendale Bunkhouse is a cosy yet functional and modern property, set in the very centre of the town close to all the amenities Allendale has to offer and is perfect for sharing special times together with friends, colleagues/groups or loved ones. Ideal too for the many walkers and cyclists who love visiting this area with routes available from the door. This is a great location for exploring the North Pennines, Hadrian’s Wall, Hexham, Durham and the Lakes, or travel over to the north of Northumberland to sample the heritage coast with miles of unspoilt beaches for a magical day out.

Things to note

The Allendale Bunkhouse can be booked in conjunction with the Dale Manor, which sleeps up to 18 guests to increase the total capacity to 43 guests.
