6 Bedroom Private Château, Loire Valley

Stay in your own château set in a private park on the Grande Sauldre River, with access to a shared swimming pool. Located in the Loire Valley, Sancerre is just a 30-minute drive away.

This is a beautiful 300m² private château set in a 5-hectare park with its own river and swimming pool. Inspired by the surrounding countryside, it’s designed to make your stay comfortable, relaxed and memorable. The rooms are spacious and welcoming, and we aim to make every guest feel at home.

Experience the best of France right on your doorstep. Enjoy the peace of nature, visit nearby vineyards, and try authentic local food at restaurants recommended by people who know the area well.

The château can sleep up to 15 guests. There are four large bedrooms with super king-size beds. Two have en-suite bathrooms while the remaining rooms share a large bathroom.

The super king double beds in all four of the large bedrooms can be converted into 2 singles. Each bedroom includes a desk and a seating area.

Our single beds are in generously sized rooms, so there’s plenty of space for both children and adults.

There are two salon rooms. One has a fold-out sofa bed, and the other features a high-definition projector so you can enjoy a cinema-style film night.

There is also “the library” which is a lovely reception room and the only room with a TV.  It also has a card table and a double sofa bed.

Outside, the swimming pool is surrounded by comfortable sun loungers and parasols — perfect for relaxing, reading a book or simply enjoying the sunshine.

The private park, woodland and river are ideal for peaceful walks and fresh country air. If you prefer to explore on two wheels, bicycles are available to hire so you can make the most of the 3 hectares of natural surroundings.

Guests have access to all the standard facilities in the property. There’s also a fully licensed bar and restaurant on site if you’d prefer to relax and dine without going far. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need during your stay.

All rooms have high-speed Wi-Fi, whether you want to stream Netflix in the library, check social media, or catch up on a few emails.

Things to Note:

• We also have a smaller house which can sleep up to 8 and makes a great add on for larger groups. Adding this house onto the booking would take the total guest capacity to 23.
