Property Description

This cosy 6 bedroom country house is located in North Herefordshire and can accommodate up to 10 adults and two children. You can also bring along your furry friends as it is also dog friendly.

From the lane, you arrive into the old farm courtyard, surrounded by lovely brick and stone barns. There’s plenty of parking, a barn for locking up bikes and stables if you’re bringing horses.

Arrive in time for afternoon tea and cake, put your feet up in the drawing room by the fire, get comfy in the cosy bedrooms and enjoy great food around the hand-made oak dining table.

The house has full central heating, a wood burner and an open fire, with logs included.

There’s a big, well-equipped farmhouse kitchen with an AGA, two fridges, a freezer and two dishwashers. The back kitchen has a shower, loo, washing machine, tumble dryer and a third fridge. Outside, the gardens include a terrace with a huge table and chairs, lots of seating, croquet, swings and a gas Weber BBQ.

Bedrooms
Five double or twin rooms and one bunk room, sleeping up to twelve guests, plus sofa beds for two children.

Just outside the front door is the quiet east lawn, which catches the morning sun. There’s an old oak bench that’s perfect for early-morning coffee. A wooden gate leads through to the south lawn, with a paved terrace and a huge garden table, complete with an old bench from Scarborough railway station and pots of parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme. The gas Weber BBQ sits on the decking area – open a bottle or two, enjoy the fresh air and light some candles as the evening draws in.

Stone steps lead down to the lower lawn, where the millstream runs through.

It’s a great base for exploring the area, whether you’re driving, walking, cycling or bringing your own horse.
